Barron, Neuhaus, and Von Balthazar-ites

Something for the Barron-ites and the Balthazar-ites:

The Council of Quiersy in 853 stated that, "not all will be saved" (Denz. No. 318);

and Pius II in 1459 even condemned the opinion "That all Christians are to be saved" (Denz. No. 717[b]);

T
HE SYLLABUS OF ERRORS CONDEMNED BY PIUS IX:

"17. Good hope at least is to be entertained of the eternal salvation of all those who are not at all in the true Church of Christ." -- Condemned

SYLLABUS CONDEMNING THE ERRORS OF THE MODERNISTS--LAMENTABILI SANE, Pius X July 3, 1907 (#24):
"24. The exegete who constructs premises from which it follows that dogmas are historically false or doubtful is not to be reproved as long as he does not directly deny the dogmas themselves ."-- Condemned

No one is in Hell?

">

Again Fr. Barron promotes a theological liberalism. He is dangerous because much of his other videos are pretty orthodox but his Ecclesiological  Theology seems  based on sentimental human respect. He has changed Catholic theology to make people "feel" better. His semi-Origenism is so dangerous in its subtlety. It isn't his; it was first proposed by Von Balthazar, later by Fr. Neuhaus of "First Things".
This Balthazarian theory says hell exist but no one goes there. Origen said that souls went to hell but in  the end of time all would be saved even the demons--apokatastasis.
 St. Jerome was an admirer of Origen but once he was accused of  the heresy of Origenism, St. Jerome, very sensitive to the question of orthodoxy, found out how wrong Origenism was and two years later sided with St. Epiphanius, Origenists' opponent. We can only hope that Fr. Barron will follow St. Jerome's example. Our Lords words are clear:
Mt 7:14 "How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life: and few there are that find it! "

We also have a long historical tradition of the early Church to Augustine to Aquanis; few are saved. The reason this theory is so dangerous is that there is no incentive to evangelize and preach the Gospel, since all are saved anyway, but the truth is they need to take Jesus as Lord and Savior.
